In the Falkenstein mining area, you follow in the footsteps of the historic miners. More than 500 kilometres of tunnels once ran through this region, where miners extracted copper and silver. Along the Miners’ Trail, you can experience how they lived and worked.

A truly exciting nature walk through the protected natural monument of the Großer Ahornboden. Here, visitors learn all about the local flora and fauna – and if you wish, you can also enjoy delicious regional specialities in the Eng alpine village along the way.

Location: Hinterriss – Eng

A hike that takes you through both warm and cool environments. Along the way, you’ll learn how the Earth’s climate works and how human activity influences it.

Location: Vomperberg

Join Knight Waldauf on an exciting knight-themed trail through the forest, along streams and across a suspension bridge to the ruins of Rettenberg and back again.

Location: Weer, Weerberg, Kolsass, Kolsassberg

A beautiful walk that delights not only little legs: numerous stations and an interactive audio puzzle adventure provide variety while sharing fascinating knowledge about the planets.

Location: Terfens

The Wolfsklamm gorge leads you along a truly cool trail with more than 350 steps, wooden walkways and rocky passages. Along the way, you pass roaring waterfalls and emerald-green pools – natural rock basins where mountain water gathers. A wonderful tip for hot days: the refreshing spray from the waterfalls keeps you cool, and the fresh air makes it easy to breathe deeply and recharge.
