Almabtrieb from the Falkenmoosalm to Pertisau
The opening event at Lake Achensee falls in the middle of the week – and that is precisely its appeal. Those who come along on this Wednesday experience the animals’ return from the alpine pastures without the crowds of the weekend dates: more space by the roadside, more time to watch, and more opportunity for a conversation with the farmers.
The route begins early in the morning at the Falkenmoosalm and leads down via Maurach to Pertisau. Music and alpine specialities await at the destination as the decorated animals arrive one by one.
