Located on the picturesque banks of the River Inn, the castle restaurant serves traditional Tirolean cuisine with a fresh, modern touch – lovingly prepared using seasonal ingredients. The historic Fugger Stüberl pays tribute to the era of the Fuggers and the origins of Schlosshotel Mitterhart. An ode to history, this dining room features the castle’s ancestral gallery and offers an authentic atmosphere for up to 30 guests to dine in true castle style.
Rustic charm meets aristocratic tradition in the Gwercher Stube. With its wood-panelled walls and traditional tiled stove, this room recalls the elegant lifestyle of Tirolean nobility. Named after the former ‘Gwercher Schlössl’, it offers space for up to 33 diners in a characterful setting.
This elegantly restored vaulted room reflects the architectural grandeur of Tirolean noble families. With its centuries-old masonry and intimate ambience, it seats up to 16 guests – a space where history is brought to life through hospitality.
The Schlossschenke is the lively heart of the restaurant at Schlosshotel Mitterhart. Classically modern in style, this inviting tavern seats up to 22 guests and features a bar. It’s the perfect spot for everything from the royal breakfast buffet to an evening aperitif or digestif.
A unique setting for our cuisine, the castle garden at Mitterhart offers seating for up to 80 guests. With views over the old mill and ancient trees steeped in history, it’s an atmospheric outdoor space. A dedicated play area invites children to explore while adults relax.
The idyllic Inngarten on the southern side of the castle offers stunning views over the River Inn and up to Arbeser Kogel, Schwaz’s local mountain. Surrounded by climbing roses and herb beds, up to 40 guests can enjoy our castle cuisine in this idyllic garden setting.
In 2025, the castle gardens of Schloss Mitterhart were named one of the top 10 most beautiful terraces and gardens in Tirol by Falstaff. An honour that not only fills us with pride, but also inspires us daily to offer you exceptional moments of pleasure in the historic and natural surroundings of our Schlosshotel.
