A week later, the Farmers’ & Music Autumn opens again – and by now the Zillertal is wearing even more colour. October is the valley’s quieter season: clearer air, warmer light and markets where you no longer have to queue.
For many, this second weekend is the lovelier one. The stalls and music are the same – but there is more space between them.

Combine the market day with an autumn weekend at the castle – the Wolfsklamm gorge, the Silver Mine and Tratzberg Castle are all within a short drive.
